Yesterday we returned to the primary school to complete a second 'Under the Sea' themed mosaic that would be placed in the playground area. We worked with the younger children in reception (kidergarten) and it was a blast! We got the mosaic finished in no time, the kids were so talented.
Of course we had to have a hot cuppa tea to start this long day with little kiddos!
Here we have drawn out a map with markers so the kids could match up colored tiles to the under the sea picture.

Here the Head Teacher is excited about the new mosaic for the garden! |
Natalie, Katie and some year 2 Students posing by the mosaics where they will be installed at the gate to the garden |
This is the wall in the play ground where the under the sea mosaic will be installed! |
Later that night Natalie made a traditional American dinner for her host family!! Meatloaf, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and rolls. : ) They were a huge hit and it was nice to have a little taste of home while being away.
Matt, Anna (hosting Natalie) and Andrew enjoy a taste of the U.S.! |
Tonight we head to Edinburgh Scotland for a long weekend adventure.
Love
